Shoplifting \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a shoplifting report.\u00a0Responding officers spoke with the\u00a0department’s Asset Protection agent who stated that he\u00a0observed the suspect pick up several\u00a0items of\u00a0store merchandise before entering the fitting room. However, when the suspect exited the fitting room, he was observed with less merchandise than when he entered. After the checking the fitting room, which was empty of merchandise, the agent detained the suspect. Officers cited and released the suspect.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Traffic Violation \u2013 Driving Without a License \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 19th Ave & Sloat Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed the driver of a vehicle wearing headphones, which covered both of his ears. \u00a0 Officers conducted a traffic stop and requested the driver\u2019s license but the driver responded that he was never issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited and released.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 100 Font Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding a trespasser who had locked themselves\u00a0in the bedroom of an\u00a0apartment. Responding officers spoke with the building’s security officer who stated that the apartments were empty and being \u00a0being renovated but a female was observed, by a flooring contractor, closing the bedroom door of unit. The security officer attempted to remove the subject but found that the door was locked and called the police. When the officers requested that the subjects open the door, there was no response but it was observed that the subjects were attempting to exit from the rear window. \u00a0The subjects, who were determined to be juveniles, were located and detained by the officers and transported to\u00a0<\/span>the Community Assistance Resource Center to be processed. They were later cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
