Assault – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 2100 24th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n School resource officers responded to a report of a fight. \u00a0Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that he had received information that there was a fight outside of the school. The victim went outside and started to follow the suspect but the suspect charged at him and pushed him in the chest.\u00a0The\u00a0<\/span>suspect was later cited and released to the Community Assessment and Referral Center.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Battery \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that she and the suspect had gotten into a verbal argument earlier and the suspect started gathering his items to leave. The items, however, were next to the victim’s medication and she was afraid that the suspect was attempting to take\u00a0them as well. The victim grabbed the suspect’s arm which prompted the suspect to punch the victim on the back of her head. \u00a0The suspect denied ever hitting the victim but confirmed that there was an argument and he had started to gather together his personal items and\u00a0pushed her away when she suddenly grabbed him. <\/span>After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
