Warrant Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:37 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 100 Broad St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers from our Taraval Neighborhood Team (TNT) were on patrol and recognized a suspect, with a past history from previous contacts, who had a warrant for his arrest.\u00a0<\/span>Officers made contact with the suspect and a computer check confirmed the warrant.\u00a0 The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vandalism to\u00a0MUNI<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:19 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9th Ave & Judah St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a vandalism of a MUNI bus. The witness, a bus driver,\u00a0reported\u00a0that the suspect wanted to get off the bus to catch another bus, which was ready to leave. The suspect asked the witness to honk at the bus in an attempt to make it wait for him but the witness refused. This angered the suspect and he kicked both the door and windows of the bus, causing damage to them, before fleeing.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2:53 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 500 Capitol Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he was walking home when an unknown suspect suddenly came up to him and punched him once before kicking at him once. The victim believes that the suspect is his neighbor, as the suspect immediately fled into a house after the battery.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Drivers License Suspended \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 6:57 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Junipero Serra Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a traffic collision. Officers gathered information to assist in the exchange of information\u00a0and\u00a0determined that one\u00a0party\u00a0did not have proof of insurance and that the license was also suspended.\u00a0After further investigation, the driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Vehicle Violation – Driver\u2019s License Suspended \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 7:45 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Taraval St and 19th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers observed a vehicle making a left turn onto 19th Ave from Taraval St, depsite multiple “no left turn” signs that were posted. The officers conducted a traffic stop\u00a0and were told that the driver\u00a0had lost his wallet and did not have\u00a0his license on him. However, a computer check revealed that the\u00a0license was suspended. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Probation Search \u2013 Possession of Ammunition \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Confidential<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to the area regarding a domestic violence related incident. Officers determined that the incident was solely a verbal argument. While on scene, the Taraval Neighborhood Team (TNT) recognized that one of the parties involved was on probation with a search condition. Officers conducted the search and located two boxes of ammunition and a metal baton, both of which were\u00a0in violation of the suspect’s\u00a0probation. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n 19th Ave & Sloat Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to the hospital regarding a fight that had occurred at Stern Grove. Responding officers spoke to the witness, who reported that they were hanging out at Stern Grove when a known suspect came up to them and started to punch and kick the victim before immediately fleeing the location.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Assault<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 500 John Muir Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of an assault. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that the suspect called earlier\u00a0and asked to come over. The victim agreed and they were spending time together in the apartment when the suspect decided to look through the victim’s phone. The victim told the suspect to put her phone down and leave which angered the suspect. The victim stated that the suspect covered her mouth from behind and put enough pressure to cause her to pass out before he fled\u00a0the location.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
