Burglary \u2013 Warrant Arrest \u2013 Possession of Stolen Property \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n An officer was on patrol and approached by a witness regarding a shoplifting incident; the suspect was observed to conceal multiple items of merchandise before trying to exit the store. The officer recognized the suspect, who had a known history, and detained the suspect. However, while speaking to him, the suspect attempted to flee. With the help of the witness, the officer placed the suspect in handcuffs. A search of the suspect’s backpack revealed a cutting tool\u00a0and a computer check revealed that the suspect also had a warrant for his arrest.\u00a0<\/span>The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n The victim\u00a0reported an incident of battery at Taraval Station and stated that he was\u00a0at a bar\u00a0with the suspect and another friend. While they were at the bar and playing pool, the suspect suddenly pushed the victim’s head onto the table which caused bleeding and\u00a0required a visit to the hospital.\u00a0<\/span>The victim wanted the suspect arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
