Battery \u2013 Resisting Officer\u2019s Duties \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2:15 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1500 10th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a possible domestic incident. Responding officers spoke with the victim who reported that he was drinking with the suspect earlier and that the suspect became extremely intoxicated and argumentative. The victim also stated that the suspect had a history of being aggressive while\u00a0intoxicated. Officers attempted to question the suspect but was unsuccessful as the suspect refused to answer any questions. The suspect also struck at the officers several times when they attempted to help focus her attention and sit down. Unable to reason with the suspect, t<\/span>he officers placed the suspect in handcuffs. \u00a0The suspect was\u00a0placed into a detox cell and later cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Traffic Violation \u2013 Warrant Arrest \u2013 Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 31st Ave & Lincoln Way<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n The officers were\u00a0on patrol\u00a0when they observed\u00a0a bicyclist riding in the middle of the night without any lights on. The officers detained and identified the suspect before running a computer check. The computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. A search of the suspect\u00a0revealed multiple<\/span> burglary tools and a glass pipe use for smoking methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:53 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. The witness, a security officer, reported that the suspect was observed stealing a pair of headphones and walking out of the store with them. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Suspended Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 4:52 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1800 14th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a non injury, vehicle collision. The officers assisted in the exchange of information\u00a0and a\u00a0computer check revealed that one of the drivers was driving on a suspended license. The driver was cited<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n 10:23 am<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n 1200 17th Ave<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n Officers responded to a report of an attempted robbery. Responding officer spoke to the victim, who reported that she had just finished walking her friends to her car and was walking back to her building when a suspect approached her and demanded her property. The victim responded that she didn’t have anything on her. The suspect replied that the incident was just a joke and to not called the police before fleeing.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Battery – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 1500 8th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that she and the suspect were arguing about an upcoming trip when she tripped while walking down the stairs and believed that the suspect pushed her. The suspect admitted to arguing but denied pushing the victim. A witness also confirmed that there was an argument and someone falling down the stairs.\u00a0<\/span>After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Investigative Detention<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 8:30 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1200 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol and\u00a0selected a vehicle for a computer check\u00a0which revealed that the vehicle was used previously in a drive by shooting. Dispatch was notified and additional units responded. The officers conducted a traffic stop and detained the driver and passengers without incident but were unable to determine if the occupants were suspects. The occupants were identified and released while the vehicle was towed.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
