Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding a battery incident. Responding officers spoke to the victim, a store employee, who stated that she observed the suspects acting suspiciously at the south end of the store. After loitering, the suspects were observed to crouch down and place store merchandise into a large black garbage bag. The victim confronted the suspects about the merchandise and the suspects attempted to immediately run out of the store. The victim grabbed at the bag of merchandise and attempted to pull it away from the suspects but it ripped and the victim fell to the ground. The suspects fled the store.<\/span><\/p>\n

Firearm Possession – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Jules Ave & Holloway Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observe a group of people carrying open bottles of alcohol while\u00a0standing in the middle of the intersection. The officers began dispersing the crowd but observed one person who was acting suspiciously. The officers\u00a0followed the suspect and observed that\u00a0he was nervously placing his hands in and out of his jacket\u00a0and that there was a bulge in a pocket. The suspect fled from the officers approach but collided into the wall of a house before officers detained him. A search of the suspect located\u00a0<\/span>a firearm on the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was\u00a0\u00a0arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Warrant Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 23rd Ave & Vicente St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observe a suspect, with a known history, walking on the sidewalk. A computer check on the suspect confirmed that the suspect had a warrant.\u00a0Officers placed the suspect under arrest for his warrant.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:42 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 200 Winston Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regarding a shoplifter. Responding officers spoke to the loss prevention agent who stated that she observed the suspect place store merchandise into a shopping bag while she was conducting floor surveillance. The agent followed the suspect out of the store, confronted and detained the suspect without incident. After further investigation,\u00a0<\/span>the suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Threats \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers responded to a report regarding\u00a0a\u00a0person making threats. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who stated that the suspect made threats on her life while she was placing her items down on a table that was near the suspect. The officers spoke to the suspect, who responded that he was upset. After further investigation, the officers\u00a0<\/span>placed the suspect under arrest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Traffic Violation \u2013 Suspended License \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Holloway Ave & Miramar Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with a broken tail light. Officers conduct a traffic stop on the suspect and made contact with the driver. The driver stated he did not have a valid driver\u2019s license and that his license was suspended. A computer check on the driver revealed the status of his license was suspended. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Domestic Violence<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3:18 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 200 Thrift St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report regard a domestic dispute. Responding officers spoke to the victim who reported that he was assaulted by the suspect after they were drinking beer inside his vehicle. The victim reported that a verbal argument ensued and the suspect struck him twice on the side of his head with a flower pot. The victim stated that he tried to calm the suspect down but the suspect jumped on him, causing both of them to fall to the ground.\u00a0Officers ran a computer check, which revealed and additional four<\/span>\u00a0incidents that were documented between the victim and suspect. The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
