Firearm discharge<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 500 Head St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a vehicle with a bottle hole. Responding officers spoke to the\u00a0victim, who reported that he had just returned and found that his vehicle had been shot at with a\u00a0bullet hole\u00a0visible on the roof of his vehicle.\u00a0Officers searched the area but were unsuccessful in locating any further\u00a0evidence or witnesses that heard gun shots.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery \u2013 Attempted<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 7:17 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1300 9th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a battery incident. The victim reported that she had just closed her business and was walking to her vehicle when she felt a sudden jerk on her backpack behind her and was punched once. While the victim was disoriented, the suspect went through her pockets looking items to steal. However, the victim was able to retain her property and the suspect fled the location.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:23am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 700 Taraval St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim\u00a0reported that the suspect, who was previously banned from the store,\u00a0headed to the pharmacy and asked for some syringes. The victim told the suspect that he had to leave the store which caused the suspect to angrily punch the victim. The victim pushed the suspect away and the suspect fled the store.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Traffic Violation \u2013 No License Issued \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 12:55 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 19th Ave & Ulloa St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officeres observed a vehicle, without a license plate or DMV paperwork, traveling at a high rate of speed. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been expired since 2014. The driver had also been arrested for driving on a suspended license. The driver was cited<\/span> and his vehicle towed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n 14th Ave & West Portal Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers observed a vehicle that failed to make a complete stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Battery – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:34 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 2500 41st Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that there was an angry argument with the suspect earlier about their relationship. The argument continued to escalate and the victim had to grab\u00a0a\u00a0bottle of pepper spray away from the suspect in fear of it being used. The victim pocketed the pepper spray and attempted to leave\u00a0the room but the suspect punched and scratched at the victim’s face in an attempt to stop the exit. Upon questioning, the suspect stated that nothing out of the ordinary had happened. After further investigation, the\u00a0<\/span>suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Ocean Ave & San Fernando Way<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol observed a vehicle\u00a0being driven despite a broken brake light. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Graffiti \u2013 Possession of Graffiti Tools \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:53 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 18th Ave & Taraval St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol and were flagged down by a witness. The witness pointed out a\u00a0suspect who was just observed in vandalizing a box with graffiti.\u00a0Upon questioning, the\u00a0suspect denied that he had anything to do with the graffiti\u00a0on the box. However, a search of the suspect located multiple markers that matched the graffitti.\u00a0\u00a0After further investigation, the\u00a0suspect was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1:44 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 800 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a theft. The witness reported that three\u00a0suspects, one who was recognized from a previous robbery incident, entered the store talking loudly and acting obnoxiously. The suspects walked directly towards the iPhones and stole a phone\u00a0while the other suspects intervened when the witness tried to stop the robbery. The suspects fled the store with the stolen merchandise but two of three suspects were later located by the responding officers. After further investigation, the two suspects<\/span>\u00a0were arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
