Threats \u2013 Shoplifting<\/strong><\/span>

\n 700 Irving St<\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of threats. The victim reported that the suspect, with a known history, entered the store in a wheelchair and stole multiple items of merchandise. The victim attempted to retrieve the merchandise but the suspect angrily threatened to kill her and her employees. The suspect then immediately exited the store and fled the location.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/strong><\/span>

\n 1800 Ocean Ave<\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a theft by force. The witness reported that the suspect, who had a known history of shoplifting, entered the store and was confronted by the witness after the suspect attempted to exit the store with stolen merchandise. The witness attempted to detain the suspect but was hit by the suspect who was flailing his arms around. The suspect then ran\u00a0to a waiting vehicle and fled the scene. \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Assault<\/strong><\/span>

\n 1200 Ocean Ave<\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that\u00a0the suspect bumped into him while they were walking on the sidewalk. The victim told the suspect to not bump into him and the suspect swung his umbrella around which made contact with the victim’s lips. The suspect then fled the scene.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Assault on School Employee<\/strong><\/span>

\n 1500 31st Ave<\/strong><\/span>
\n School resource officers responded to a school regarding an assault. The victim told the officers that the suspect, a parent, had hit him with a stroller after an argument. The suspect then fled the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n
