Assault \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 10:45 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 1800 23rd Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a call of an assault. The victim reported\u00a0that the suspect, her neighbor, was making enough noise that\u00a0she was unable to sleep\u00a0and she went upstairs to ask him\u00a0to quiet down. The suspect opened the door and an argument ensued. The argument escalated and the\u00a0suspect pushed the victim, causing her to fall backwards and on to the ground where she hurt her back.\u00a0The suspect was located and arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:01 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3300 Kirkham St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a robbery with a firearm. The victim reported that she was walking on Kirkham St when she observed the suspect approaching her. The suspect the pointed the firearm at her and demanded her belongings. The suspect then fled in a waiting vehicle with the stolen property.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 5:00 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting incident. The witness reported that she observed the\u00a0two suspects select multiple\u00a0items of store merchandise and placed them into an empty reusable bag. The suspects then entered a\u00a0fitting room before attempting to leave the store with the stolen items.\u00a0The suspects were\u00a0detained without further incident. Responding officers\u00a0conducted a computer check\u00a0and after further investigation, the<\/span> two suspects were arrested. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 6:56 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Taraval St & 28th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported\u00a0that the LRV was slowing down to pick up passengers and he stepped\u00a0out on to the streets, where a vehicle drove by and almost hit him. The victim swung his backpack at the vehicle which caused the suspect to get\u00a0out of the vehicle and grab\u00a0him. This caused the victim to kick the suspect.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The suspect responded that\u00a0the LRV hadn’t\u00a0stopped and the doors were\u00a0not open, so he slowly passed. When the victim hit the car with his backpack, the suspect got out and held\u00a0on to the victim so he wouldn’t\u00a0flee. The officers investigated the incident but\u00a0neither party wanted to press charges.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n 1300 25th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a robbery with a firearm. The reported that she had just exited her vehicle when the suspect approached her while holding a firearm. The suspect demanded her items but the victim ran towards the nearest houses, while screaming, and rang several doorbells causing the suspect to flee in a waiting vehicle.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
