Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Cited<\/strong>

\n 19th Ave & Winston Dr<\/strong>
\nOfficers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with an expired registration. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended since 2014. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:54 pm<\/strong><\/span>
\n 1800 Irving St<\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a theft. The victim reported that three suspects were observed walking into the store as a group and then separated themselves. One suspect attempted to distract the victim while another went into the storage area and took several items. The victim attempted to stop the theft but another suspect reached into his pants and informed the victim that he had a gun. Frightened, the victim backed away and the suspects fled the location.<\/p>\n

Battery \u2013 Elder Abuse \u2013 Arrested<\/strong><\/span>

\n 100 Vernon St<\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a victim being hit with a chair by the suspect, her son. The victim reported that the suspect had invited entered her house, despite her wishes to the contrary, and an argument ensued. The victim was almost hit by a wooden chair that the suspect threw at her which angered the suspect and she spat at her. The victim also admitted that the suspect had\u00a0a history of hitting her in the past. After further investigation, the\u00a0suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nOfficers responded to a report of two males engaged in a fight. The victim reported that he and the suspect, his boyfriend, were drinking at home when an argument ensued. The argument escalated and became physical. After\u00a0further investigation, the suspect was located and arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n
