Robbery

1900 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he was standing in front of the pool hall when two suspects approached him. One of the suspects pulled out a pistol and pressed it into his back while the second suspect demanded his property. The victim gave the suspects his property and both suspects fled the scene soon after.

Battery – Cited

Taraval St & 46th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery at a pizza restaurant. The victim reported to the officers that he was on the MUNI when he saw his friend on the street. The victim said that he exited the MUNI and his friend walked up to him but proceeded to punch him multiple times on his face. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Violation of Restraining Order – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a restaurant regarding a suspect in violation of a restraining order. The victim told the officers that the suspect had returned despite a restraining order. The restraining order was placed on the suspect due to the suspect trespassing on the victim’s property and causing a disturbance multiple times in the past. A computer check on the suspect revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Trespassing – Breaking Windows

Officers responded to a report of a broken window. The witness, building security, told the officers that he noticed a window broken and blood on the window and walls of an empty unit. Responding officers also observed multiple alcohol bottles at the location. The witness believed that that there was a squatter who had occupy the empty apartment.

Robbery – Threats

2900 San Jose Ave
Officers responded to a report of a threat. The victim told the officers that the suspect approached him and wanted to get change for a smaller denomination of his money, which was already in a small denomination. The victim refused to help the suspect; the suspect threatened the victim before selecting multiple items from the store and walked away without paying for them.

Robbery Attempted

200 Winston
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim told the officers that she had gotten out of her parked vehicle and was walking towards the mall when a suspect pushed her on the floor from behind.  The suspect attempted to take the victim’s purse and started punching her. A bystander heard the victim’s scream for help and intervened, causing the suspect to flee the scene.

Battery – Vandalism – Resisting Arrest – Arrested

1300 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. A witness told the officers that the suspect and victim were in the bar drinking all night and started having an argument before victim told the suspect to go home. Another witness, a firefighter, told the police that they heard the argument between the victim and suspect. The suspect saw the firefighter and tried to challenge him to a fight. The victim stood between them and the suspect pushed him aside. When responding officers arrived, the suspect also wanted to fight the officers. One of the officers used pepper spray to defuse the incident. Officers detained the suspect and an ambulance was summoned to evaluate the suspect. After arriving at Taraval Station, the suspect stuffed clothing into the toilet which caused the cell and surrounding areas to flood. The suspect was transferred to county jail for his arrest.
