Attempted Robbery with Force

200 Orizaba Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. Responding officers spoke to the victim and were told that the victim had just stepped out of the store when the suspect punched him once on his face. The victim stated that he is familiar with the suspect but did not know the suspect’s name. The victim also admitted that he had one beer and had taken some illegal drugs the night before. No items were reported missing.

An officer was flagged down by the witness, a contractor, who was working on a house. The witness reported that he saw a suspect jumping over several fences in the area. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him. Upon investigation, the suspect appeared to be under the influence of narcotics and was unable to answer questions. A search of the suspect revealed a glass pipe commonly used for smoking narcotics. A black tar like substance was located in the pipe, which was most likely heroin. A syringe needle was also located in the suspect’s pocket. A computer check also revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a couple fighting. The victim reported that she had come home and found the suspect asleep in their bed and believed that he had been drinking. The suspect got up and locked himself in the bathroom. The victim asked the suspect for something in the bathroom but the suspect pushed the victim when he opened the bathroom door. The suspect then started to argue, punched and grabbed the victim when she attempted to flee. The suspect then called the police and reported that the victim had a knife. Officers investigated the incident and arrested the suspect.
