Officers responded to a report of a couple in a fight. The victim reported that she and the suspect, her husband, had been separated and lived at different locations. Earlier today, the victim went back to the house to pick up an item when she ran into the suspect. The victim asked if the suspect would like to have some coffee and the two walked out together. However, while they were leaving, another person walked out of the garage. The victim confronted the suspect and questioned who the stranger was. The suspect explained that the person was there to fix up the house. This angered the victim as she did not want a stranger living in the house. An argument ensued and the suspect angrily took the victim’s car keys before striking her on her face. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
