Robbery

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim, a gas station attendant, stated that the suspect was observed bothering multiple customers at the gas pumps before the suspect grabbed the victim’s hand and attempted to punch him. A second employee told the suspect to leave. The suspect exited the store but stole an item from a shelf that was just outside of the doorway. The victim told the suspect to return the item but the suspect brandished a knife and threatened the victim before fleeing the scene.  

Robbery

Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Target. The victim, a loss prevention agent, stated that the suspect was observed placing store merchandise into a backpack before entering a fitting room. When the suspect exited the fitting room, he was wearing the store merchandise that he had perviously placed into his backpack. The victim attempted to stop the suspect but the suspect unsuccessfully punched at the victim. The suspect then unwrapped a knife from the kitchen aisle and threatened the victim with it.  Immediately afterwards, the suspect exited the store and fled.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of vandalism. An anonymous person reported that a known suspect had been vandalizing windows in the area. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him. A computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. After further investigation, it was determined that the suspect had broken his own window because he had been locked out of the building. The suspect was arrested.

Assault – Dissuading or Threatening of a Witness – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that the suspect, his daughter, had grabbed him on his throat and attempted to strangle him. The victim stated that the suspect had requested a ride to Stonestown but the victim declined and told her to clean her room instead. This caused the suspect to get angry and she assaulted him. The officers made contact with the suspect, who admitted to hitting her father due to having a bad day. The suspect was arrested.
