Robbery of a Chain Store / Resisting Arrest – Arrested

200 Winston Ave
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter who had just fled the area. The witness, a loss prevention officer, stated that the female suspect had been observed carrying store merchandise pass the store registers and exit without paying. The witness attempted to detain the suspect but a male suspect suddenly stepped close to the witness and threateningly held out a syringe. Both suspects then fled the immediate area. Responding officers successfully located and detained the male suspect despite the suspect immediately attempting to flee at the sight of the officers. The female suspect fled the area. An investigation revealed that the suspect was in possession of stolen items worth approximately $882.00. The male suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a person screaming and threatening to fight people. Responding officers located the subject and detained him. A computer check on the subject revealed an arrest warrant. The subject was arrested.
