Assault – Vandalism – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a vandalism incident to a vehicle. The victim reported that she was inside her parked vehicle when the suspect pushed a shopping cart against the passenger side of her door. The victim stepped out of her vehicle and took a photo of the suspect. The suspect became angry and ran after the victim. The victim ran back into her vehicle and closed the door. The suspect then threw a light bulb against the victim’s window before walking away. Responding officers located the suspect and a computer check on him revealed a warrant for his arrest out of San Mateo. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of possible squatters on vacant property. A neighbor reported that the owner of nearby house had been in the hospital and that he was concerned that someone may be trespassing at the house. Responding officers searched the house and located a suspect, who claimed to be the son of the home owner and gave a false name to the officers. After further investigation, the suspect gave the officer his true name and a computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.
