Warrant Arrest

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The witness reported that the suspect was observed stealing money from the store’s tip jar. The witness attempted to detain the suspect but the suspect fled the store. Responding officers searched and located the suspect and the tip money that had been stolen. A computer check on the suspect revealed an arrest warrant. The witness declined to press charges against the suspect and the suspect was arrested for the warrant.
