Theft from a Vehicle – Battery

00 Harding Rd
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he had been having lunch inside his vehicle when he heard glass breaking and looked up to see that the suspect was stealing his backpack. The suspect then got onto a bicycle and rode away. The victim followed the suspect in his vehicle and then cut in front of the suspect to stop him. The victim reached out and grabbed the stolen backpack but the suspect pepper sprayed the victim before continuing to flee the area.

100 San Leandro Way
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle failing to make a complete stop before making a left turn. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Judah St & 19th Ave
Officers were on patrol and were stopped at a red light when they observed a vehicle make an illegal left turn despite a posted sign prohibiting the turn. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The driver volunteered that his license had been suspended, which was confirmed with a computer check. The driver was cited.

Brandishing a Weapon

19th Ave & Sloat Blvd
Officers responded to a report of road rage. The victim reported that he had honked at the suspect after the suspect made a dangerous and sudden lane change in front of him. When the victim passed the suspect shortly after, he observed that the suspect was holding on to a gun and yelling. However, because the suspect did not open his window, the victim did not hear what the suspect was yelling. The victim drove away from the suspect without further incident.

Officers responded to a report of fire. The victim reported that he had been spray painting art outside in the backyard before placing the paint cans next to the water heater. The victim stated that the next thing he noticed was that there was a fire. 

Theft of a Bicycle – Warrant Arrest – Possession of Stolen Property – Arrested

1200 Funston Ave
TNT officers were conducting stolen bicycle operations and observed the suspect stealing a bicycle. The officers detained the suspect and a search revealed that the suspect was in possession of more stolen property. A computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant out of San Mateo. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

3000 Judah St
TNT officers were conducting stolen bicycle operations and observed a suspect riding on a bicycle owned by the ride share company, LimeBikes. The suspect rode the Lime bicycle to the location of his own bicycle before switching bicycles and riding off while towing the Lime bicycle. The officers detained the suspect and a search revealed that the bicycle had been stripped. The suspect stated that he had found the bicycle. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.
