Warrant Arrest

Officers were on patrol in the area when they observed a vehicle with an expired registration. A computer check revealed that passenger had current arrest warrants out of Stanislaus County and Union City and that the driver’s license had also been suspended. The passenger was arrested and the driver was advised.

False Identification to Police – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

46th Ave & Judah St
Officers responded to an anonymous tip regarding a subject with an active warrant and notified dispatch that the suspect might use his brother’s name to identify himself. Responding officers located the suspect and made contact with him. The suspect provided the officers with a false name before he was detained and transported to Taraval Station. At the station, the suspect continued to refuse to correctly identify himself. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested for the warrant and for providing false identification.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with a brake light that did not operate when the vehicle stopped. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he had never been issued a driver’s license. The check also revealed that the driver had been previously convicted for driving without a license. The driver was cited and his vehicle was towed.

Vehicle Burglary – Probation Violation – Arrested

200 Dorantes Ave
Officers responded to a report of a suspect who had been breaking into vehicles. The victim stated that there had been suspicious sounds coming from the front of his house and went to investigate. The victim observed the suspect inside the front seat of the victim’s vehicle. The victim started recording the incident and confronted the suspect. The suspect confessed to the crime while the victim continued recording the incident. Responding officers located three other vehicles nearby that had also been broken into. A search of the suspect revealed that he was in possession of methamphetamine. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
