Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Lake Merced Blvd & Berkshire Way
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle without a license plate and followed the vehicle. The vehicle abruptly pulled over and the officers made contact with the driver who stated that his license had been suspended. A computer check confirmed the suspended license and that the last registration had been in 2013. A search of the suspect located illegal narcotics and paraphernalia. The driver was cited.

Officers responded to the report that someone was waving a sharp object around. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him. The suspect stated that he had have a knife but was defending himself. A computer check on the suspect revealed a warrant for his arrest. A search did not reveal a knife; the suspect was arrested for the warrant.
