Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting suspect who was wielding a knife. The victim reported that the suspect walked into the store, a Safeway, and took multiple items before pushing the victim away and forcing his way out of the store. Once outside, the suspect brandished a knife but did not use it in a threatening manner. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
