Assault – Attempted Homicide

Officers responded to a report of shots being fired. The victims, DPW workers, reported that they were working with a group of teens and showing them how to plant trees. Suddenly, the suspect was observed leaning out of a passenger side window of a vehicle and firing at the juveniles without causing any injuries.  The vehicle immediately fled the area. 

Burglary – False Identification – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victims reported that there were suspicious noises coming from a shed in the back area and observed that someone was inside with a flashlight. Responding officers located and made contact with the suspect. The suspect initially gave the officers a false name but was later successfully identified by the officers. A computer check on the suspect revealed a warrant for her arrest out of Lake County. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report that a suspect with an arrest warrant was located by an off duty officer. Responding officers arrived and located the suspect. The suspect was arrested.

Trespassing – Cited

200 Winston Dr
Officers responded to a report of a trespasser, who was asleep inside the property. The witness, a security officer, reported that the suspect had been warned to stay away from the property on numerous occasions but refused to do so. The suspect was cited.

Warrant Arrest

Richmond District
Officers received information regarding the location of a suspect. Responding officers located the suspect and arrested him.

False Emergency Report – Arrested

19th Ave & Quintara St
Officers responded to a report of a suspect who was activating the fire alarms on multiple streets. SFFD stated that the suspect had been observed activating one alarm and after further investigation, it was determined that the suspect had activated three alarms. The suspect was arrested.

Shoplifting with Force – Arrested

3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. The victim, a  loss prevention employee, observed the two suspects attempting to steal from the store. The victim confronted the suspects but they responded by attempted to use their bags to hit the victim and also attempted to use pepper spray against the victim before fleeing the store. Responding officers located the suspects and after further investigation, both suspects were arrested.  

Domestic Violence
One incident of domestic violence; the suspect was arrested.
