Suspended Driver’s License – Methamphetamine Offense – Cited

Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with a registration that had been expired since April 2018. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver’s license had been suspended. The driver stated that his paperwork was located inside a backpack and gave them permission to look inside. A search of the backpack revealed the paperwork along with a substance suspected to be methamphetamine. After further testing and investigation, the driver was cited.
