Battery – Cited

Ocean Ave & Capitol Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that they had been walking through a crosswalk when the suspect, who was muttering to himself, walked up and threw an unknown object at the victim. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was cited.  

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

2100 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated trespasser inside a restaurant. Responding officers located the suspect, who was asleep in a chair and made contact with him. A computer check revealed that the suspect had an arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested.

Attempted Robbery – Battery
4:29 pm
30th Ave & Lawton St
Officers responded to a report of a fight. The victim reported that he had been leaving the recreation center when a group of juveniles followed him and claimed that the victim had offended someone. The suspects then punched the victim and attempted to take his cell phone. The suspects then fled the area after a witness exited the building.

One incident of domestic violence; no arrests made.
