Stolen Vehicle – Arrested

An anonymous person reported that a vehicle had been parked suspiciously in front of the location for several days. Responding officers located the vehicle and made contact with the suspect, who was inside the vehicle. A computer check on the license plate revealed that the vehicle had been stolen on 12/22/20. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers were on patrol in the area when they observed a vehicle that did not have front license plates. As the vehicle made a U-turn, the back license plate was observed to be partially covered by black paint. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he had four arrest warrants. A search of the vehicle located a pair of nunchucks, in plain view, inside. After further investigation, the driver was arrested.
