The victim, a car share driver, reported that the suspect, a passenger, had taken his car. The victim stated that he had two passengers and was at the drop off point when he attempted to help one of the passengers, who was intoxicated, out of the vehicle. One of the passengers, the suspect, stated that he did not have his phone and searched the vehicle for it. The suspect was in the driver’s seat of the vehicle when he suddenly pushed the victim away and claimed possession of the car before driving away with it. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
