The witness reported that the suspect had approached him and asked if he wanted to purchase construction tools. The witness examined the tools and observed initials marking the tools and found information online regarding tools and that they had been reported as stolen. Responding officers made contact with the victim of the stolen tools, who confirmed that they were his property. The officers made contact with the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested for being in possession of stolen property.

Taraval’s plain clothes officers conducted an investigation involving the suspect, who had used his skateboard to damage multiple vehicles on multiple occasions (cases #220183608, #220183404, #220191344, #220192273 and #220242232), and identified him. A search warrant was obtained and uniformed officers located the suspect as he was trying to enter a vehicle. The officers ordered the suspect to exit the vehicle. The suspect was successfully placed in handcuffs despite refusing to exit the vehicle and assaulting one of the responding officers. A search of the suspect’s home located evidence in relation to the search warrant and cases. The suspect was arrested.
