Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that they had been walking home when a vehicle pulled up next to them and the first suspect, inside the vehicle, asked for a lighter. The victim went into their home and retrieved a lighter for the suspect. When the victim returned, two suspects suddenly exited the vehicle and began punching and kicking the victim. The suspects then stole the victim’s cell phones. While the victim was running back into their house, they thought that they heard two gun shots. However, the victim did not see any firearms.

The victim, a delivery driver, reported that they had been driving and had slowed down for a stop sign when the suspect suddenly jumped on to the truck and immediately started kicking at the window. Responding officers detained the suspect and placed the suspect in handcuffs, despite the suspect fighting back and attempting to take weapons from an officer. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
