On Wednesday, 6/11/14, SFPD motorcycle officers assigned to the Traffic Company and officers from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) conducted a joint traffic safety operation in the Taraval District. Officers from both agencies conducted traffic enforcement stops along 19th Avenue. 105 drivers were cited for traffic violations. Operations like these and the increased traffic enforcement by the officers assigned to the Taraval District are an important part of vehicle and pedestrian safety.
