Driving While under the influence – Case# 220712376

1600 37th Ave
The witness stated that they had heard a loud noise and then observed the suspect working on a flat tire on his vehicle. The suspect then attempted to drive the vehicle a short distance, despite the flat tire, before exiting the vehicle again. The witness believed that the suspect may have been intoxicated. Responding officers located and detained the suspect, who showed signs of obvious intoxication. After further investigation and testing, the suspect was arrested.

The victim stated that they had been sleeping when they were awoken by the sound of something metallic hitting the floor and rolling around. The victim investigated and discovered a hole in their ceiling.  

Warrant Arrest – Trespassing – Vandalism to Property – Case# 220714639

200 Granada Ave
Officers responded to a report of a known suspect inside the victim’s home. The suspect, who had a history of trespassing at the residence, had broken into the building on the belief that it was the suspect’s home. Responding officers located and detained the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.  

Traffic Violation – No Driver’s License – Case# 220714247

22nd Ave & Taraval St
Officers were on patrol in the area when they observed a vehicle failing to stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver did not have a license.  The driver was cited.

Battey – Possession of a Firearm on School Grounds – Case# 220713318

100 Aptos St
The victim reported that two suspects had suddenly approached them before one of the suspects grabbed the victim’s neck and said that the victim should stop talking to the suspect’s sister. The victim stated that there appeared to be a handgun in the second suspect’s pocket. Both suspects then left the area. The victim confirmed that they had been involved in an argument with another person earlier but did not know if it was related to this incident.
