Robbery – Case# 230563313

1700 9th Ave
The victim stated that they were retrieving their backpack from their vehicle when the suspect walked up to them, used a pipe to break the vehicle’s window and pulled the backpack off the victim’s shoulder. The suspect then fled the area.

The victim stated that four suspects approached them and one suspect forced the victim’s purse off their shoulder. The other suspects then pulled the other victims out of the vehicle and started taking their personal items. One of the victims stated that a suspect was holding a firearm but never pointed it at anyone. 

Assault – Case# 230563943

2300 42nd Ave
The victim, a Parking Enforcement Officer, stated that they had just issued a citation and was driving away when a truck that had been issued a citation cut in front of them. The suspect’s vehicle then stopped and blocked the victim’s vehicle before the suspect exited and attempted to punch the victim. The suspect did not make contact with the victim but shattered the vehicle’s front window, shattering it. The suspect then fled the scene. 

Theft – Possession of Stolen Property – Case# 230562901

46th Ave & Wawona St
The victim stated that they had fallen asleep on the MUNI and had woken up to find their property was missing. The MUNI driver reported that they had only observed two other passengers on the bus at that time and one of the passengers had been moving around next to the victim. Shortly afterwards, dispatch notified the officers that the suspect had been seen on another bust near 15th St and Noe St. Responding officers located and detained the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
