Officers responded to a report of a known suspect, who had a history of violating a restraining order, had return to the location. The suspect was arrested.

19th Ave & Eucalyptus Dr
Officers were conducting traffic enforcement and determined, via LIDAR, that a vehicle was traveling 68mph in a 35mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that they had never been issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited and their vehicle was towed.
Attempted Stolen Vehicle – Assault on an Officer – Case# 230732245

4200 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity. Responding officers arrived at the location and observed the suspect exiting the sunroof of the victim’s vehicle before entering into their own, waiting, vehicle. The officers attempted to detain the suspect, who immediately drove away despite the officer holding on to the vehicle’s door. The officer was dragged a short distance before the suspect fled the location at a high rate of speed. The suspect’s vehicle was later identified as being reported as stolen.
