Through translation, the victim told the officers that he was talking to his friend in the living room when the suspect, his neighbor, started knocking on the door aggressively. The victim told the officers that the suspect was screaming, but didn’t know what it was about. When the victim opened the door, the suspect tried pushing his way in. The suspect then went to the back door and tried to come into the house. The suspect was holding a machete. During the course of the investigation, the victim also found a dent in his vehicle. Officers made contact with the suspect in his home but refused to come out.
