Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Witnesses reported seeing the garage door open. Upon arrival, officers conducted a check of the building for any suspects. During the check, officers observed numerous marijuana plants in various stages of growth.
Stunt Driving – Arson of a Vehicle – Case# 250720612

48th Ave & Kirkham St
Numerous officers responded to the area regarding a stunt driving incident. Officers detained a vehicle and a suspect. It was later learned that the detained vehicle was involved in arson and brandishing during a sideshow incident in which a suspect set fire to a U-Haul. Officers observed a firearm on the rear floorboard in plain view, which was later determined to be a realistic replica BB firearm. Following further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

The victim came to Taraval Station and reported that she had dropped her dog off with a dog sitter. When she picked up her dog, the dog was shaking and appeared to be malnourished. The victim also found other incidents related to the same dog sitter.
Stolen Vehicle – Case# 250721795

Junipero Serra Blvd & 19th Ave
Officers on patrol in the area observed a stolen motorcycle traveling on 19th Avenue. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop; however, the driver fled at a high rate of speed. The suspect later lost control of the motorcycle and was involved in a solo collision. The suspect was subsequently arrested.
