The victim, a security guard for the grocery store, told the officers that he tried to escort a known shoplifter out of the store for trespassing. The suspect grabbed the victim’s security patches off the victim’s shoulder and threw them on the floor. The suspect was later located and cited.
Robbery – Case# 260134508
9:03 pm
1400 19th Ave
The victim told officers that he was working at the gas station when an unknown suspect walked up to him holding a bag containing recyclable cans. The victim believed he was going to be robbed and tried to push the suspect out of the store. A second suspect then walked in, took out a gun, and motioned toward the cash register. The suspect emptied the register and took the money. The suspect hit the victim with the gun. The suspects told the victim to go into the bathroom and stay there. The suspects then left the scene.
