Officers responded to a report of a battery against firefighters. The victim, a firefighter, told officers that he was preparing for a training exercise when the suspect began yelling and making threats without provocation. The suspect became increasingly aggressive to the point that the victim had to push him away. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s arm and scratched it. The suspect was detained, and a records check revealed an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.
