Physical Threats-Battery

Officers responded to a report of an attempted stabbing. Upon arrival the officers met the victim who said he and his girlfriend got into an altercation with an unknown suspect. The suspect made threats to stab the victim and then attempted to punch the victim. The suspect instead hit the victim’s girlfriend. Both the victim and his girlfriend refused any medical attention.
Suspect: Male, 5’11”, 180 lbs., between the ages of 30-35. LSW: Black shirt and black pants.

Residential Burglary

2000 17th Ave
Officers were flagged down by a man who reported a burglary. The man said his home had been broken into and that a belonging was missing. Officers examined the scene and determined the point of entry and exit was through the damaged front door. Officers took pictures of the scene and booked them as evidence.

3000 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of theft at a department store. Upon arrival the officers met a store employee who said two suspects took merchandise and ran out. Officers spoke with security and found video surveillance of the two suspects fleeing into a vehicle. Officers booked the video surveillance as evidence.
Suspect #1: African American, female, 5’4”, 200 lbs., between the ages of 30-35, with black hair. LSW: Black baseball hat, long sleeve white t-shirt, black pants, with black and white sneakers.
Suspect #2: African American, female, 5’4”, 200 lbs., between the ages of 30-35, with black hair. LSW: Multicolor dew rag, red/pink long sleeve shirt, and black pants.

A man walked into Taraval station to report theft. The man said he ordered an item from the internet. When he received the package, he discovered it was empty. The shipping company told the victim to make a police report.

A man walked into Taraval station to report theft. He said when he exited a business, someone bumped into him. As a result the man dropped his wallet from his hand. An unknown suspect then picked up his wallet and fled. The suspect made several unauthorized purchases with the victim’s cards and money.
Suspect: African American, male.

A man walked into Taraval station to report theft. The man said he was at a self checkout at a grocery store when two suspects crowded around him. The victim became distracted and later noticed that one of his personal belongings was missing.
Suspect #1: African American, male, between the ages of 25-30.
Suspect #2: African American, male, between the ages of 22-25.

Officers responded to a report of vandalism to a MUNI bus. Upon arrival the officers spoke to a MUNI driver who said a suspect entered his packed bus and refused to leave. The suspect stepped off in frustration and then hit the bus with a skateboard before fleeing. There was damage to the bus door. Officers took pictures of the damage and booked them as evidence.

While on patrol an officer observed a vehicle with no front license plate. The officer conducted a traffic stop. A computer check revealed the license-belonging to the driver of the vehicle, was suspended. The officer cited the driver for driving with a suspended license and having no front plate.

An officer responded to a report of vehicle collision. Upon arrival the officer discovered one of the involved drivers had a suspended license. The officer cited the driver for driving with a suspend license. Neither driver complained of any injury.

While on patrol an officer observed a vehicle with an expired registration tag. The officer conducted a traffic stop. A computer check revealed the license-belonging to the driver of the vehicle, was suspended. The officer cited the driver for driving 1) with a suspended license; and 2) a vehicle with an expired registration tag.

Officers responded to a report of burglary. The victim told the officers his window was shattered. He said the suspect attempted to enter through the window. However the suspect was stopped by a window security bar that prevented further entry.

Officers responded to a roommate dispute. The victim said he left his property in his room last night. However when he returned to retrieve his property, it was missing. He believed he may know who took the property without his permission.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report that the tires to his parent’s vehicle were slashed. The man did not know who committed the crime.

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival the officers were told that a known shoplifter-who was previously warned never to go into the store again, returned. A store employee confronted the known shoplifter-who was trespassing, to leave. However the trespasser threatened her. The officers conducted an investigation and found-out the trespasser’s identity.

An officer responded to a report of residential burglary. Upon arrival the officer was told by a resident that an unknown suspect entered her home without permission. Her property was missing and her doors were unlocked.

Officers responded to a report of burglary. Upon arrival the officers were told by the victim that her storage had been burglarized. Multiple items were missing and the storage lock had been ripped off.

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival the store manager told the officers the suspect fled. The manager said the suspect had previously taken merchandise without paying for them on more than one occasion. This time, however, the manager was able to retrieve the merchandise and obtain the suspect’s identity.

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting that occurred in a parking lot where outdoor vendors had set-up tents. The victim said an unknown suspect entered her tent and stole multiple merchandise before fleeing on foot.
Suspect: African American male, age 25 – 30, 5’9, approximately 150 pounds. LSW: Green baseball cap, black baggy jacket, black and red shoes.

Officers heard a person scream for help. They responded and found a man who claimed he was being chased by monsters. The man said he was under the influence of narcotics. The officers later discovered the man had a warrant for his arrest in another jurisdiction. After he was treated by paramedics, the wanted man was arrested and booked for the warrant.

Officers responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle. Upon arrival the officers located a suspect. The reportee confirmed the suspect as the person who vandalized the vehicle. Officers smelled a strong odor of alcohol on the suspect’s breath. In addition, the suspect was deemed unable to care for himself. The officers transported the suspect to Taraval Station. He was cited for vandalism and public intoxication.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report fraud. She said a person claiming to be a relative called and asked for a monetary wire transfer. The relative said money was needed to be used as bail. She wired the money as instructed and then discovered she was a victim of fraud.

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. The victim told the officers she observed a suspect conceal merchandise. She attempted to stop the suspect; however the suspect forcefully shoved her and fled. The officers were able to obtain surveillance footage of the incident.
Suspect: Hispanic male, 5’9, approxmiately160 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. LSW: Black jacket and grey pants.

Officers responded to a report of burglary. Upon arrival the officers noticed a door was damaged and shards of debris were on the ground. The victim told the officers that numerous items were missing. CSI was notified.

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. They met a loss prevention agent who had custody of a suspect. The loss prevention agent told the officers he saw the suspect open a merchandise, conceal it, and exit the store without paying. Once outside, the agent detained the suspect. The officers took custody of the suspect and cited him for shoplifting.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report vandalism. He said during the night, he heard noises outside his house. Later he woke up and found his home vandalized with thrown eggs.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report fraud. He said while he was making a purchase, the store advised him to leave a check in case there was a problem. Later the man discovered the check was cashed for something other than what he bought.

A man walked into Taraval station to report a robbery. The man said an unknown suspect tried to rob him and a struggle ensued. The suspect then ran into a vehicle and fled the scene. The victim stated nothing was stolen.
Suspect: African American, male, 5’8”, 200lbs., between the ages of 20-25 years old. LSW: A gray beanie, dark jacket with possible sports symbol on the back, and black pants.

Officers responded to a report of a dog bite. Upon arrival the officers met two dog owners. They were individually walking their respective dogs-one leashed and the other one unleashed.When they passed one another, their dogs got into an altercation. The dog owners tried to restrain their dogs. Afterwards, each dog owner had bodily injuries possibly caused by a dog bite. Neither of them pursued charges against one another. However one dog owner was cited for not having her dog on a leash.

An officer responded to a complaint of a homeless encampment. Upon arrival the officer found a man sleeping unlawfully. A record check of the man revealed there was a warrant for his arrest. The man was arrested and booked at Taraval station.

Officers responded to a report of theft. Upon arrival the officers met the victims who said their belongings were stolen by a man who was in their residence as a guest.
Suspect: Hispanic, male, 5’7”, 160 lbs., between the ages of 20-30, with black hair. LSW: Black and white shirt, black pants, mustache, and a goatee.

Officers responded to a report of theft at a department store. Upon arrival the officers met an employee who worked at a kiosk booth. The employee said three suspects had stolen merchandise. The officers told the employee to save any available video footage of the theft so that it can be retrieved at a later time.
Suspect #1: African American, male, 5’7”, 140lbs., with black hair. LSW: Cammo hat and a blue jacket.
Suspect #2: African American, female, 5’5”, 130lbs., between the ages of 15-18, with black hair. LSW: White t-shirt and a grey beanie.
Suspect #3: African American, male, 5’10”, 150lbs. LSW: All black clothing.

A man walked into Taraval station to report fraud. He said he received mail about a credit card that he was not familiar with. He then received a letter demanding that he pay his past dues. He claimed he did not owe money as indicated by the demand letter.

Officers responded to a report of burglary at a grocery store. Upon arrival the officers saw the described suspect throw objects into a bush. They detained the suspect and discovered the thrown objects were narcotics. A computer check revealed the suspect had a warrant for his arrest in another jurisdiction. The store manager said the suspect walked out of the store with unpaid merchandise. The officers arrested the suspect for the warrant, possession of narcotics, and burglary.

Officers responded to a report of theft. Upon arrival the officer met a secretary of a building. The secretary said several items were missing. The officers determined that the point of entry and exit was the main entrance.

Officers responded to a report of theft. Upon arrival the officers met a loss prevention agent. He saw a man take merchandise and exit without paying. The loss prevention agent stopped the suspect outside the mall and arrested him for shoplifting. The officers took custody of the suspect and cited him for theft.

A couple walked into Taraval station to report theft. The couple said an unknown suspect stole currency from their residence. They believed one of their house cleaners is the suspect because they were away when their home was cleaned.

Officers responded to a report of vandalism to vehicles. Upon arrival the officers met a witness who said he saw an unknown suspect vandalize several vehicles and flee from the scene. The officers saw the damages to the vehicles and notified their registered owners.

Officers responded to a report of a deceased person. Upon arrival the officers met paramedics who said a person was unresponsive. A man at the scene had called police for a well being check on the deceased person. The man became worried because the deceased person did not answer his calls. The officers found and confirmed the deceased person’s identity.

Officers responded to a report of robbery. Upon arrival the officers met a victim who said she was robbed. Two unknown suspects followed and assaulted her. They took her property and fled the scene. The officers searched the area for evidence such as a surveillance video.
Suspect 1: African American, male, 5’10, 160 lbs, between the age of 20 and 30. LSW: Dark jacket, dark jeans, white shoes, hood up.
Suspect 2: Unknown race, Unknown sex, 5’10, 160 lbs, between the age 20 and 30. LSW: Dark Jacket, dark jeans, white shoes, hood up.

Officers responded to a report of robbery at a store. Upon arrival the officers met a loss prevention agent who had custody of a suspect. The agent said an altercation occurred when the shoplifting suspect tried to flee when the shoplifter was stopped. A computer check revealed the suspect had an arrest warrant. The suspect was booked for robbery and for the warrant.

An officer responded to a report of burglary. Upon arrival the officer met a victim who said she had left her home locked and secured. When she returned, she found her house ransacked and her belongings missing. The victim believed an unknown suspect gained entry through a window and then exited with her belongings.

Officers responded to a report of burglary. The victim said a suspect came to her door wearing a plumber’s uniform. The suspect told her that he made an error while working on her neighbor’s plumbing. He said the error was affecting the victim’s house, and therefore requested entry so he can fix the problem. The victim allowed the suspect into her house. While the victim was not watching the suspect, he took her unattended wrist watch and fled.
Suspect 1: Hispanic, Male, 5’9, 200 lbs, between the ages of 25 and 35. LSW: Orange hat, Blue “Plumber” uniform with stripes with the name “Mora” on it.

Officers responded to a report of burglary. Upon arrival the officers met a homeowner who said an unknown suspect entered his residence and stole his property. The victim believed the point of entry and exit was through an unlocked door.
