Officers responded to a report of a suspect being disruptive. Security was escorting the suspect out of the mall and telling the suspect to leave the store multiple times. Security also told the suspect to leave in the officers’ presence. The suspect refused and remained in the mall. The suspect refused. Officers attempted to place the suspect in handcuffs, but the suspect resisted. The suspect was later cited.
Assault – Case# 260467973

West Portal Ave & Ulloa St
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim, a MUNI transit operator, told officers that the suspect began banging on the conductor’s booth and demanded to be let out. The victim stopped the train and opened the door. The suspect then blocked the entrance to the conductor’s booth. The victim told officers that the suspect appeared to be intoxicated. The suspect struck the victim with a can of beer and later threw the can at the victim, striking him in the head. The suspect left the scene. Officers later located the suspect and arrested him.
