Littering-Resisting/Delaying/Obstructing Police-Cited

An officer stopped a man for littering on the sidewalk. The officer told the man he was going to be detained and cited. The man deliberately walked-away from the officer in his attempt to avoid being detained. The man was eventually detained. He was cited and released for littering and for delaying the lawful duties of a peace officer.

A woman reported upon returning to her parked and unattended vehicle, she found its windshield damaged. No property was stolen from the car. No property was stolen from the car.

Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling or Vehicle

Officers responded to a report of shots fired into a house. A home occupant was about to go to sleep when she heard popping noises and glass shattering. The living room window was damaged with a bullet hole in it. An unknown vehicle had been seen driving-by and shots fired from that car.

A woman reported upon returning to her parked and unattended vehicle, she found its windows broken. No property was stolen from the car.

Robbery with a Knife

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. A man walked into a store, took several merchandise items, and fled without paying. An employee chased the suspect outside and confronted the suspect. The suspect pulled-out a knife and threatened the employee. The suspect then fled into a getaway vehicle.
Suspect #1: Black male; 24-25 years old; 6’4” tall; 220 lbs; black hair; black eyes; LSW khaki fisherman’s hat, dark blue jacket with white sleeves, white T-shirt, khaki pants, white shoes; one gold tooth in top row near middle of his mouth
Vehicle #1: Gray, 2013 Nissan Altima, 4-door sedan, rental car

Theft

Officers responded to a report of a theft. A store employee saw Suspect #1 and Suspect #2 take merchandise items and conceal them in a bag. Suspect #3 then entered the store. Suspect #2 distracted other employees. An employee confronted Suspect #1. However Suspect #1 and Suspect #3 fled together without paying for the items. Suspect #2 also fled.
Suspect #1: Black female; 18-20 years old; 5’2” tall; 90 lbs; black hair; LSW black puffy jacket, print leggings, long wavy (possibly extensions) hair
Suspect #2: Black female; 18-20 years old; 5’2” tall; 120 lbs; black long hair; LSW print jacket, black jeans, white shirt, white shoes
Suspect #3: Hispanic female; 18-20 years old; 5’2” tall; 125 lbs; brown hair

Theft

1800 Taraval St
A man walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. A potential customer was in the man’s store trying on different merchandise items. After he left, the man saw numerous items missing. The man saw the suspect flee in a getaway vehicle.
Suspect #1: White male; 42-48 years-old; 5’8” tall; 200 lbs; brown hair; LSW black jacket, bright blue shirt, black pants, sunglasses, blue tooth earpiece in ear
Vehicle #1: Black, Lincoln Continental Towncar, 4-door sedan, paper license plate “BMG”

Battery

19th Ave and Crespi Dr
Officers responded to a report of a battery on a MUNI bus. A suspect and a victim were sitting near one another in a bus. Without provocation the suspect reached around and punched the victim. The bus driver stopped the bus. The suspect then pried a bus door open and fled.
Suspect #1: Black male; 18-23 years-old; 5’9” tall; 160 lbs; black hair; Afro-style hair; LSW gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans

Mental Health Detention

Taraval St / 19th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a mentally unstable person. Officers determined the person was a danger to herself and therefore placed her on a mental health detention. She was transported to a hospital psychiatric center.

Restraining Order Violation

2300 24th Ave
A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a restraining order violation. Her ex-boyfriend was seen driving-by in front of the woman’s house numerous times in violation of a restraining order.
