An officer responded to a report of a man unlawfully sleeping on a sidewalk. A record check of the man revealed he had an arrest warrant. The officer arrested and booked the suspect at Taraval station.

Elder or Dependent Abuse

A man walked into Taraval Station to report an elder abuse. His elderly parent is a dependent and lives with his sibling who is the caregiver. The man was at the parent’s home on two occasions and found the parent needed immediate medical attention each time. He believed the sibling was not adequately caring for their parent. Adult Protective Services was notified.

Driving Without a Drivers License-Cited

An officer responded to a report of a non-injury traffic collision. A record check of one of the involved revealed he had no driver’s license. The driver was cited for the above violation.

A woman reported upon returning to her parked and unattended vehicle, she found its passenger side window broken. No property was stolen from the car.

Inflicting Injury to Child

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a possible child abuse. She complained of suspicious marks on a child after pickup from a childcare provider. Child Protective Services was already notified and is actively investigating.

A woman reported upon returning to her parked and unattended vehicle, she found its passenger side window broken. No property was stolen from the car.

Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. A homeless man was found inside a building who claimed he went in to sleep. The lawful occupant or responsible party to the building could not be found. Therefore the homeless man was advised and released.

Burglary

400 Orizaba Ave
Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim left her front gate locked, but her front door–that is located behind the gate, unlocked. Upon return, she saw the front gate opened and damaged. Her home was ransacked and numerous belongings missing. The front gate was the point of entry.
