Officers stopped a vehicle with a tail light out.  A computer check revealed that the driver’s license had expired.  The driver was arrested for the above violation.  The driver was given a court summon & then released.

Driving while Under the Influence of Alcohol-Traffic Collision-Arrested

1900 34th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision.  The officers suspected that the driver who caused the collision was intoxicated. The driver failed a field sobriety test.  Medics at the scene transported the suspected driver to the hospital.  The driver was arrested for the above violation.  The driver was given a court summon & then released.

Officers responded to a report of a person wielding a knife.  Officers met with the witness who stated that he saw a man wielding two knifes. He stated that the man was walking down the street and that it seemed suspicious. The officers searched the area for the suspect with no results.
Suspect – Black male :: 35-40 years :: 5’5” tall :: 160 lbs :: LSW black clothing, black baseball cap, armed with two knives that are about 4”.

Officers responded to a report of a possible burglary in progress.   The witness who stated that she observed a man in the building that did not belong there.  The officers located and arrested the suspect.  The suspect had credit cards with the names of other persons on him.   The suspect was arrested for the above violation.  The suspect was given a court summon & then released.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. Upon arrival the officers met with two reportees and a witness who is one of the reportee’s girlfriend. They stated to the officers that they dislike each other and got into an altercation. One of the reportee’s struck the other with a fist during the altercation. They did not want to file a citizen’s arrest form on each other.

A juvenile walked into Taraval station with his father to report a robbery. The juvenile stated that he was at a park late at night when a male approached him asking for drugs. The victim stated that he didn’t have any. The suspect and a large group of others then started to chase and hit him and his friends. The suspects stole some of their personal belongings and fled the area.

Officers responded to a report of possible trespassers at a store. An employee who stated that two suspects entered the store and wanted to pick up a vehicle with another person’s reservation. The employee declined to let the suspects leave with the vehicle. They left the store and returned with another suspect. The suspects began to make verbal threats and started throwing. The suspects fled the area after the employee stated that he was calling the police.
Suspect #1 – Hispanic female :: 20-30 years :: 5’5” tall :: 260 lbs :: black hair :: LSW blue sweatshirt and a white t-shirt.
Suspect #2 – Black male :: 20-30 years :: 6’0” tall :: 165 lbs :: black hair :: LSW all dark clothing, with a blue top and dark jeans.
Suspect #3 – Hispanic female :: 20-30 years :: 5’3” tall :: 110 lbs :: black hair

Warrant Arrest-Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a trespasser. Upon arrival the officers met with the victim who stated that he had just purchased a property and a man was in his residence and was refusing to leave. The officers contacted the suspect and conducted a computer records search that revealed the suspect to have an active warrant for his arrest. The officers arrested the suspect for his active warrant.

A woman walked into Taraval station to report a theft. The woman stated that an unknown suspect had removed the screws from her locker and stole her items.

A man walked into Taraval station to report a fraudulent credit card account. The man stated that he received a credit card in his name with two charges on it which he did not apply for.

A man and his supervisor walked into Taraval station to report a battery and harassment incident. The man stated that while he was at work a man approached him and started yelling at him. The suspect then pushed the victim from behind. The victim stated that the suspect appeared to be intoxicated and is a known homeless person who frequents the area.
Suspect – White male :: 35-45 years :: 6’0” tall :: 140 lbs :: brown hair :: brown eyes :: LSW black t-shirt, brown pants, gray jacket, and has a brown beard.

Officers responded to a report of a theft.  Victim said that someone had stolen her bench that she had in front of his house.

Officers responded to a report of theft at a store.  The victim who stated that an unknown suspect had stolen her cell phone from a storage space for employees.
Suspect – White male :: 25-35 years :: 5’10” tall :: 170 lbs :: brown hair :: LSW black hooded sweatshirt, white shirt, gray pants, white shoes, was wearing a black back pack, and had medium length hair.

An officer received a department email issued by a Sergeant that showed probable cause to arrest a suspect. The officer went to the suspect’s residence and spoke with the suspect’s father. The suspect’s father stated that his son wasn’t home and that he would contact the officer when he returns. The officer received a phone call from the father at a later time and dropped off his son at Taraval station.  The officer arrested the suspect.
