On October 28, 2013, members of the Taraval Community Police Advisory Board (CPAB) toured the San Francisco Police Academy. Captain David Lazar who is in charge of the Training Division gave an in depth look at what the recruit officers learn during their training. The CPAB members were also able to drive code 3 using the driving simulators and were able to experience the shoot-don’t shoot simulators.
