Recovered Stolen Vehicle – Methamphetamine Offense – No License Issued – Arrest

Ashton Ave & Ocean Ave
Officers observed a vehicle failing to stop at a red light. The officers made contact with the driver and were told that she, the driver, did not have a driver’s license. A computer check confirmed the lack of a driver’s license and also that the vehicle was reported stolen. A search of the vehicle and the suspect’s personal items revealed drugs and burglary tools. The suspect was arrested for the above violations.

The victim stated that they were at a playground in the area when he was bitten by a dog. The victim was able to get the other party’s information.

Fraud

The victim placed an ad on Craig’s list regarding an interest in purchasing Burning Man tickets. The suspect replied to the ad and instructed the victim to send money through Western Union and upon receipt on the money, the suspect would send the tickets. However, the Burning Man tickets were never received by the victim after the payment was sent as instructed.
