Officers responded to a report of a theft. The witness stated that they saw the suspect steal some merchandise and walked out of the store towards the MUNI platform. As the officers approached the suspect, they ordered him to stop where he was and not to move. However, the suspect saw the officers and started walking quickly the other direction. The officers managed to catch up to the suspect and placed him in handcuffs. The merchandise was located in the suspect’s bag. The suspect was cited.

Officers responded to a report of a suspect armed with a machete. The victim said that they saw the suspect who had stolen their cell phone during a prior incident and was arrested for stolen property. The victim stated that the suspect recognized him and made threats to harm him for putting him in jail. Officers searched the area but was not able to locate a machete but found a hammer. The suspect was arrested for the threats.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting incident. Loss prevention stated that he saw the suspect take merhadise from the shelf and put it into a brown bag and then suspect left the store without paying for the merchandise. The suspect was cited.

Officer observed a person sitting on the sidewalk harassing people. The officer had advised the suspect numerous times previously regarding the same issue. The suspect was cited.
Burglary – Hot Prowl

Officer responded to a report of a burglary. The victim stated that the door bell rang and she opened the door. The suspect was wearing an orange safety vest, identified himself as was working for a contractor and wanted to check on the water. The victim hesitated but then escorted him around the house to check on the water. While she was busy with the “contractor”, the victim suspected that another suspect entered the house and stole her items

Officer saw a vehicle with an expired registration. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed his licenses had been suspended. The driver was cited for the above offense .
