Officers responded to a report of a citizen holding a suspect. The witness told the officers that the suspect was fighting with another person who had already left the scene and were throwing punches at each other. The witnesses stated that the victim was crossing the street when the suspect punched him also. The suspect told the officers that he accidently punched the victim. The suspect was cited and released.

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim told the officer that she was walking home when an unknown suspect grabbed her left leg. The victim stated that she fell, started screaming and hitting the suspect. The suspect left.
Suspect #1 – white male :: 30 – 30 years :: LSW multi color shirt, dark shorts,

Battery – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

2500 Noriega St
Officers responded to a report of a knife carrying suspect trying to steal from a local merchant. The victim stated that he saw the suspect steal some items. The victim confronted the suspect and attempted to make a citizen’s arrest. The suspect punched the victim in the face, put the stolen items back and then ran across the street. The suspect pulled out a cork screw in an attempt to stop the victim from following him. The victim pointed out where the suspect was located but refused to press charges for battery. A computer check revealed that the suspect had an arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested for the warrant.

Shoplifting – Cited

Officer responded to a report of a shoplifter. Loss Prevention told officers that he observed the suspect putting numerous items into her shopping basket. The suspect then walked out of the store without paying for any of the items. The suspect was detained by loss prevention. The officers cited the suspect for shoplifting.

Vehicle violation – No Driver’s License issued – Cited

Officer was in the area when he observed a vehicle with expired registration. The Officer conducted a traffic stop and a  computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a Driver’s license. The driver was cited and released.
