During the months of September and October, several stores were robbed by a man armed with a gun. Evidence led the police to believe that the same suspect was involved in all the robberies. On October 5, 2013, Taraval officers responded to the 1500 block of Sloat on a report of an armed robbery. Taraval Officers were aware of the robbery series and quickly set up a perimeter. Officers then saw the suspect and attempted to detain him. The suspect ran from the officers but was arrested after a foot pursuit. The suspect was arrested. He was connected to five other robberies in San Francisco.
