Warrant – Arrested

9th Ave & Lincoln Way
Officers were on patrol when they observed a suspect that strongly resembled a fugitive recently seen on a crime alert flyer. Officers asked the suspect for identification but the suspect was only able to give verbal identification. A records check revealed an active felony warrant for the suspect’s arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Marijuana Offense – Cited

Lake Merced Blvd & Middlefield Dr
Officers were on patrol when they observe a red vehicle with multiple cracks over a large surface area of the front windshield. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the red vehicle and detected a strong odor of marijuana from inside of the vehicle as they approached it. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located several drug related items, including additional marijuana. The suspect was cited.

West Portal Ave & Ulloa St
Officers responded to a report regarding an argument. The victim stated someone stole his motorized bicycle. The victim stated he saw his motorcycle being driven by the suspect, followed the suspect and confronted him. The victim showed officers the bill of sale for the motorized vehicle and the DMV transfer paperwork. The suspect was cited.

Domestic Violence – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a domestic violence incident. The victim stated he and the suspect, who had been dating for 4-5 months, were in a verbal argument when the suspect scratched the victim on the neck and then called 911 to report that the victim had been beating her up. The victim stated he left the residence when the police left. When returning home, the victim stated he observed the suspect walking towards him with a knife. The victim ran away and reported the incident. The suspect was arrested for domestic violence.

False Evidence

900 Capitol Ave
Officers responded to a report regarding a possible stolen vehicle bearing two difference license plates. A computer check revealed the front license plate to be correct. The computer check also revealed the vehicle was not reported stolen but had expired registration. The false license plate was removed, the vehicle was towed for expired registration, and the vehicle was cited.

Elder Abuse

1700 37th Ave
A social worker came in to Taraval Police Station to report a possible elder abuse case. The social worker stated she was assigned to check on the victim. The victim told the social worker that the suspect had come into her bedroom, pulled her hair and pinched her on the right side of her cheeks. The victim stated this is not the first case of elder abuse between her and the suspect, but the victim expressed to the social worker that she did not want to report this to the police.
