Officer Mary Godfrey, Central Station’s “Officer of the Year”!
With 22 years of service, in which 21 years were dedicated to the community surrounding Central Station in the heart of Chinatown and North Beach, Officer Godfrey made the transfer to Taraval Station in December 2015. Prior to her transfer, Captain David Lazar and the officers of Central Station recognized Officer Godfrey’s hard work and efforts to their community for over two decades and nominated her as Officer of the Year for 2015 for Central Station.
Even in the short time Officer Godfrey has been here at Taraval Station, we have already seen why she was recognized and honored for this award. Congratulation Officer Godfrey and thank you for all your hard work!
