Under the Influence of Drugs – Cited

Officer responded to a report of a female with possible head injuries. Responding officer arrived, located the female and observed her head was down causing her hair to partially hide a purple can that was in her hands.  As the officer approached the female, the officer observed white smoke coming from under her hair. After retrieving the can, it was identified as a canister compress gas used for dusting electronics.  Upon questioning, the female appeared to be dazed and confused and was suspected of inhaling gas from the canister to get high. After examination, the head injuries did not appear to be recent ones. The suspect was cited.

Traffic Violation – Marijuana Offense – Cited

Officer observed a vehicle in front of them with an expired registration and conducted a traffic stop. As the officers approached the vehicle, they immediately smelled the odor of burnt marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. The driver told the officer that he had marijuana in his vehicle and that he is part of a collective for medical marijuana. The officers as the driver if he had his medical paperwork for the marijuana, but driver stated that he did not have it on him at the time. A computer check revealed that the driver also did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Officers responded to a report of a victim and suspect in a loud argument at the parking lot involving pepper spray. Officer met with the witness and were that the suspect and victim had already left in a vehicle. Officer searched the area, located the vehicle and spoke to the suspect. The suspect responded that he was sleeping in his vehicle when the victim attempted to wake him up. However, the suspect thought the victim was acting crazy and he had to use the pepper spray to keep her away from him. When the victim was questioned, the officers were told that she got into a fight with the suspect when she woke him up but it was only a verbal fight. After further investigation, including the statement made by the witness, the suspect was arrested.

Robbery of a Bank

Officers responded to a report of a bank robbery. The witnesses told the officers that the suspect walked up to the teller, placed a plastic bag on the counter, pulled out a gun and demanded money. The victim handed the suspect some money but the suspect demanded more money. However, the victim seemed paralyzed with fear and couldn’t move. The suspect then walked out of the bank and fled the scene.
