Homicide

Lake Merced Blvd & Font Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a shooting. Responding officers located the injured victim lying on the ground. Numerous witnesses reported that they saw the victim being chased by the suspect and that the suspect had fire shots at the victim. The victim was transported to the hospital for medical treatment but succumbed to his injuries.

Assault – Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Responding officers spoke to the both parties involved who were still on scene. Both parties admitted that they had gotten into an argument. One side claimed that he was struck on the back of his head and pepper sprayed while trying to leave the location while the other claimed that she was punched in the stomach. After further investigation, both parties were arrested.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with dark tinted front windows. Officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Threats – Arrested

900 Lincoln Way
Officers responded to a report of threats made at a residential group home. Previously, the group home received threats from the suspect who threatened to shoot both the staff members and the other inhabitants of the home. The suspect then left the location before returning later in the day. Responding officers arrived and arrested the suspect while he was still at the location.

Robbery – Arrested

700 Irving St
Officers responded to a report, made by multiple witnesses, of an aggressive suspect who was shouting and trying to start a fight. One witness, an employee from a nearby business reported that the suspect had gone into his store and started throwing items at the employee and customers. The suspect was told to leave but started swearing at the employee and stole an item before leaving the store. The employee followed the suspect and asked for the item’s return. The suspect refused and threatened to hit the employee with the stolen item instead. Fearful, the employee returned to the store. Responding officers located the suspect sitting next to the stolen item and arrested him.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. Suspect #1 stated that the cashier started yelling at him as soon as he entered the deli and did not know the reason for the abuse. Suspect #1 said that suspect #2 then grabbed his shirt with his hands and threatened to hurt him. Suspect #2, the cashier, stated that suspect #1 entered the store and started making comments about his family and then reached across the counter before scratching his neck. Both parties wanted to press charges against each other. There were no other witnesses to the incident. Both of the parties were cited.

Robbery

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim told the officers that he was walking on Crestlake Dr when he was approached by three suspects, who were running behind him. One of the suspects wrapped his arms around him while a second suspect pointed something at his stomach. The suspect told the victim not to scream and that they had a gun, however the victim did not see the gun. The third suspect reached into his pocket and stole his personal items. The suspects then ran to their vehicle and fled the scene.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The victim reported that he met a female through a chat app and exchanged photos and address after friendly conversation. The victim said that he was ready to set up a dinner date with her when the female and her associate contacted and demanded money from him. They stated that if they did not receive the money, they would hurt the victim.  Fearful, the victim sent them the money in the form of gift cards.
